Keto French Toast Caramel Buns

These buns are everything you could want for breakfast! They are soft and creamy on the inside, crispy on the outside and drowned in caramel and nuts. Seriously, how many times do I have to say it?? #WHATDIET?

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400*
  2. Slice bread into strips. 5 – 6 slices.
  3. If you don’t have English muffin rings, you can use aluminium foil shaped into rings or even 4 inch ramekins.
  4. Whisk Swerve and cinnamon together.
  5. Whisk cream, egg and Swerve in a small bowl. Soak bread in cream mixture for a few seconds.
  6. Arrange soaked bread in pinwheel shape in rings or ramekins. Sprinkle with Swerve mixture.
  7. Bake for 13-15 minutes, till golden brown.
  8. Gently warm caramel sauce.
  9. Once the buns are out of the oven, place nuts on bun and pour warm caramel over the top. There will be leftover caramel. Refridgerate and save for ice cream!!!
