Keto Breakfast Pizza
Back in my ill-spent youth, leftover pizza was a breakfast staple. I shudder to think what 3-day old unrefrigerated pepperoni would do to the ole gastrointestinal tract today. This keto breakfast pizza is a better choice.
Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 400* (pizza stone optional but suggested)
- Prepare Ketonia pizza dough as directed in the linked recipe. Portion dough into 4 equal sections.
- In a largeskilletover medium-high heat, saute breakfast sausage. One sausage is cooked, add heavy cream into the skillet with the sausage. Lower heat to a simmer and let thicken, about 5 minutes.
- Flatten out the 4 portions of pizza dough. Top with sausage gravy and cheddar cheese. Set pizzas in the oven on a pizza stone or abaking sheetlined withparchment. Cook for 15 minutes or until golden brown and delicious.
- Meanwhile, fry 4 eggs over easy. Remove the pizzas from the oven and top with a fried egg. Enjoy!
