About Ketonia

Ketonia started in a kitchen, between a mother and her son.

The Chef Behind the Recipes

Geri Terry trained in French pastry at Le Notre and spent years working in restaurants, but her real culinary education happened at home. She was a stay-at-home mom who cooked constantly, and John grew up eating food that most people never get to. She had a palate and a level of technique that took decades to build.

When Geri lost 50 pounds on keto, she did not just stick to the diet. She started recreating every food she loved from scratch, keto version, using everything she knew about cooking to make them actually taste right. That is harder than it sounds, and she made it look easy.

How Ketonia Became a Business

John had been doing keto for years. When he saw what his mom was putting together in the kitchen, he told her it needed to be a business. She listened.

Ketonia Foods launched and grew fast. The keto baking mix became a bestseller on Amazon. They got within reach of nationwide distribution through Walmart. It was real, and it was working.

Then the economy turned, a contract manufacturing situation went sideways, and the business did not make it through. It happens. You pick yourself up.

Why the Recipes Are Still Here

We still cook these recipes. We still eat them. They are genuinely good, and they work for keto in a way that most keto food does not.

This site is partly a tribute to the time Geri and John spent building something together, and partly just a free resource for anyone trying to eat well on keto without suffering through bad food. Every recipe here came out of a real kitchen, tested until it was worth making.

All 300+ recipes are free. No paywall, no email required.
