- I love to grind my own burgers. I do ⅓ each of boneless short ribs, sirloin, and chuck steak. It takes only 5 minutes to make in my Kitchen aid! I added 2 oz of bacon to the mixture just to bump it up a notch!
- Fry burgers in a pan over medium-high heat. They won't take long since they’re so thin. Remove burgers and saute onions in 1 tbsp butter till slightly browned. Set aside.
- Wipe the pan out with paper towels. Melt 1 tbsp butter, grill both sides of Texas toast until brown. Place 1 slice American cheese on bread, then 1 patty. Top with swiss. Top with the second patty, cheese, and onions. Top with the second slice of Texas toast and heat gently to melt cheeses.
- Serve with pickles Mayo, sugar-free Ketchup as desired!
