Method
- Spread 1 tbs butter on I side of each slice of bread.
- Place in frying pan, butter side down. Cook till golden on medium low heat.
- Place 2 slices American cheese on inside of 1 grilled slice of bread. Top with 1/2 oz shredded cheese.
- Add 1/2 tbs more butter to pan and gently flip sandwich to cook cheese. Low and slow is the key here, you don't want to burn the cheese!
- Sprinkle remaining shredded cheese on top of sandwich. When other side is browned and crisp, add remaining butter and flip sandwich to cook remaining cheese. Roughly 3 minutes per side. Both sides should be crispy, crunchy delicious! Serve immediately
