Keto Ham and Cheese Kolache

I know. Don’t start on me. I know it’s really a Klobasniky. But have pity on me. I have to check the spelling Every. Single. Time. Nevertheless, this Keto Ham and Cheese Kolache is so good you'll forget what it really is: a klobasniky or a kolache?

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag Ketonia Bread Mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp butter (room temperature)
  • ½ cup Swerve
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp instant yeast
  • 24 slice deli ham
  • 18 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 egg mixed with 1 tbs water (egg wash)

Method
 

  1. Combine all ingredients and knead bread according to directions on the package. Let the dough rest , covered, for 60 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 375*
  3. After resting, Roll dough into a 12 X 12 or so rectangle. Divide dough into 12 squares. Sandwich cheese around ham. Roll dough around filling and pinch seam . Place seam side down on a parchment lined sheet pan.
  4. Let rise for 1 hour. Brush with egg wash. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or till GBAD!
  5. I think this would be amazing with a little sauerkraut and a sprinkle of caraway inside as well! You do you!!
