Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground lamb or beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
To Serve
  • 4 Ketonia pita or flatbreads
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced
  • Fresh lettuce or spinach

Method
 

  1. Combine ground meat with garlic powder, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Form into an oblong loaf shape and place in a loaf pan.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 to 55 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Let rest 10 minutes then slice thinly.
  5. Serve sliced meat in Ketonia pita with tzatziki, tomato, onion, and lettuce.
