Keto Butter Cookies (Spritz Cookies)

This is,like,THE quintessential Christmas cookie. It's what the kids and I did together every Christmas! Colored sugar sprinkles, a cookie press and my kitchen destroyed all in under an hour! LOL. They are surprisingly easy to make as well, lovely to look at, buttery and not cloyingly sweet, even with the sweet topping! Perfect with an afternoon cuppa!

  1. Preheat oven to 400*
  2. Cream butter and ¾ cup Swerve with hand mixer or in Kitchenaid.
  3. Add egg, mix till incorporated.
  4. Add remaining ingredients. Mix till combined.
  5. Place dough in cookie press. Choose desired shape and press cookies according to cookie press instructions, on parchment lined sheet pan.
  6. Bake until set but not brown, about 6 to 10 minutes. Keep your eye on them!
  7. Stir together ¼ cup swerve and a few drops of desired food color in small bowl. reserve for topping hot cookies.
  8. If desired sprinkle with colored swerve immediately upon removing from oven.
