Ol’ Will Shakespere must have had Texas in mind when he wrote that line! In the 1880’s Czech immigrants started to settle in Texas and the rest is culinary history! Now, technically and traditionally, Kolaches are a sweet dough filled with fruit fillings, sweetened poppy seeds or sweet cheese. But the Texas Pioneering spirit is always evolving and I guess it was only a matter of time before meat got involved! Enter the Klobasniky, or as it is affectionately called here in the Lone Star State, the Texas Kolache! Sweet dough filled with sausage, ham and cheese and all kinds of goodies! Call them whatever you want, we call them delicious! Enjoy this Keto Hatch Chile Sausage and Cheese Klobasniky!
