Instructions
Spread 1 tbs butter on I side of each slice of bread.
Place in frying pan, butter side down. Cook till golden on medium low heat.
Place 2 slices American cheese on inside of 1 grilled slice of bread. Top with 1/2 oz shredded cheese.
Add 1/2 tbs more butter to pan and gently flip sandwich to cook cheese. Low and slow is the key here, you don't want to burn the cheese!
Sprinkle remaining shredded cheese on top of sandwich. When other side is browned and crisp, add remaining butter and flip sandwich to cook remaining cheese. Roughly 3 minutes per side. Both sides should be crispy, crunchy delicious! Serve immediately
